Intermediate Knitting
Amazingly simple, yet compellingly useable. The perfect addition for a travelling wardrobe as 2 items make 4 separate looks:
- Vest
- Shrug
- Coat (vest & shrug - put the shrug on first and overlay it with the vest)
- Vest with scarf (vest with shrug tied around the neck)
Knitted with Adorn Silky Merino DK and Adorn Silky Merino 4 ply yarn, the long cabled vest is knitted in one piece up to the armholes for minimum sewing up. Fitted at the bodice with a combination of rib and cable patterns, the vest is flattering for most shapes. It is easy to shorten the vest if desired.
The shrug/sleeves is knitted in one piece with the same yarn combination. When wearing as a coat, the shrug is donned first, followed by the vest over the top.
