Intermediate Knitting
Traditional garter stitch meets modern shaping in Leigh One-Piece Cardigan to create a versatile every-day kind of garment. Leigh is cast on at the back hem, then works up the back where the sleeves are then cast on. The sleeves are shaped with short rows, then the neckline divides the work into Left and Right sides before the sleeves are cast off and the fronts are completed and cast off at the hem. The only sewing required are the side and sleeve seams, but as they are row for row and stitch for stitch they are the easiest type of seam to sew. Pattern includes links and QR codes to take you to demonstrations of techniques on YouTube.
