Easy Knitting
Easy enough to be made as a knitter’s first garment, this Simple Jumper has minimal shaping for maximum effect, and with chunky 14ply yarn (or equivalent) and thick needles it’s super quick to knit up. The pattern is detailed and includes extra notes to help the novice knitter. Use Peppin 14ply for a clean smooth look, or go for fluff and extra coziness with one strand of Peppin 10ply held with two strands of Alpaca Superlight. Ollie is the kids' sized version of the Simple Adult Jumper. An oversized snuggly jumper is just what your little person needs for cooler weather – cast on today!

Yarn – Cropped length – 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6)  balls Fiddlesticks Peppin 14ply, OR one strand of Fiddlesticks Peppin 10ply held with two strands of Lang Alpaca Superlight throughout: 3 (4, 4, 5, 6, 7) balls Fiddlesticks Peppin 10ply AND
3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6) balls Lang Alpaca Superlight
Regular length – 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) balls Fiddlesticks Peppin 14ply, OR

Needles – 7mm needles
Extras – 2 stitch-holders, a tape measure, and wool needle for sewing seams and ends

Tension
13sts and 19 rows to 10cm over Stocking Stitch. Check your tension for an accurate fit. Stitch tension is much more important than row tension in this garment.
