Pinafore

Intermediate Knitting
Quick to make and worked from the top down, this seamless pinafore is worked in the round and requires no sewing up at all.  It has an A-line garter stitch skirt with a stocking stitch bib and features overlapping buttoned tabs at the side.  The back of the pinafore looks the same as the front minus the buttons.  

Because it is worked from the top down, it is easier at a later date (when the child has grown) to add more length to the skirt as required.

Age: 3 months (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 4 years)
Garment Width at Waist: 24 (28, 33, 35, 38) cm
Garment Length (from top of buttoned up strap to hem): 31 (38, 44, 49, 54) cm

Materials
Adorn Silky Merino DK or Adorn Cotton Cashmere DK: 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) x 50 gram balls
Circular 4mm x 60cm needles
Double pointed stitch holder
4 X 1.5mm (approximate size) buttons

Tension
22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm using 4mm needles in stocking stitch.
