Intermediate Knitting
This fabulous scarf is created just from knits and purls, but their clever placement creates an endless ripple effect. Either block the scarf for a length of textured knitwear, or leave it scrunched and wiggly and enjoy its unique shape.
Size – 160 x 20cm
Yarn – 6 balls Adorn Silky Merino 4ply/Adorn Silky Cashmerino 4ply/Bellissimo 4ply (held double), or 3 skeins Fiori Sock (held double), or 7 balls Fiddlesticks Peppin 10ply/ Cleckheaton Rodinia 10ply
Needles – 5mm needles
Extras – row counter, yarn needle for sewing in ends
Tension – 24sts and 28 rows to 10cm in Ripple pattern. Tension isn’t critical for this scarf, however looser tension will likely require more yarn and tighter tension will result in a smaller scarf.
